Who Was Arny

Arny was a gregarious, joyous soul.

He loved to eat, loved to laugh, and never missed a chance to help someone if he could. Family meant everything to him, and food was how he brought people together.

Arny's Bagels is a tribute to his life and his way of living—open-hearted, generous, and full of joy. Arny's Bagels was founded by Arny's son, Todd. When Todd's family arrived in Belfast in 2019, they couldn't find a decent bagel anywhere.

A bagel is breakfast staple for the family, without them something was missing. So Todd did like Arny would have and got to work. The results were so good, Todd thought, 'what the heck...let's make bagels for everyone!' Every bagel we bake is made with Arny in mind and shared in the same spirit he lived by.
